2003 7.3L Diesel
and a few weeks back it was running great. What happened: The Queen left to go to the store and drove maybe a .10 of a mile and realised she had forgotten her phone so she put it in reverse and then came back up the driveway. While driving up the driveway it started to run exceedingly rough. We had gotten a butt ton of rain so there was a wash out in the driveway but nothing extreme. I had recently changed, then had change back to original radio(after repairing) and wondered if this could have contributed...I went through the basics and added fuel(because she was under half a tank). Changed the belt and tensioner (because my hood light was fluctuating). Changed the oil(again because she was a little low). Changed my CPS (even though I had recently changed it-now I have a spare).
I ran Forscan and a 1293 error for bank 1 populated so I went into the passenger side v/c. I found what appeared to be a slightly separated plug so I replaced with the Dorman option paying attention to the wires when re-attaching the v/c. I did not delete codes but ran Forscan again with similar results so should I delete codes? The monster runs a little better but not up to its power prior to this happening...any help or advice is so appreciated.
The previous owner had put a dp tuner on it which honestly I don’t know enough about but really don’t want to confront taking off just yet.

the other lead to:
inj 2 = 4.1
inj 4 = 3.6
inj 6 = 3.7
inj 8 = 4.9
lead to passenger side supply + the other lead to:
inj 1= 2.8
inj 3 = 2.8
inj 5 = 2.8
inj 7 = 2.8
-I’m still trying to locate the idm to test the plug on that....will post once found👍

Also, based on the results I got from the 42 pin plug once the idm is checked if the numbers are similar then it’s the idm?
If the wiring to the IDM checks good, I'd suspect IDM or one or more bad injector solenoids shutting down the bank. I'm not sure which to point you to. Hoping some experts here will chime in. Not sure what to make of the difference in resistance on the driver's side bank vs passenger side.
would have taken it to a mechanic by now but the only two I trust would be weeks before they could take a look at it...then getting it to them would also be fun.

Before spending on a new IDM I'd recommend pinging aka continuity testing the injector and common wires from the 42 pin connector to the VC connector, see wire #s HERE. Then either back from 42 pin to IDM, or under the VCs.

It is possible, but unlikely. Take his advice to heart and give it a shot. Worst that happens is you lose 5 minutes which includes a few drinks from your beverage of choice.
