I'm changing the Carb on my FE390, and hit a snag with the dual feed fuel line interfering with the Vacuum port on the stock intake manifold. This is the rear of the manifold, toward the cab of the truck. Anyone solved this one before? I'm wondering if there's another port I could use on the manifold and plug this one up.
That is a clean setup! Interesting your Intake doesn't have the port in the same place. Maybe my solution is to upgrade the Intake as well haha. Thanks for the reply.
Thanks, I've never been a fan of the aftermarket dual line set-ups. To me they all look sorta clumsy.
I don"t know if there's enough room on your installation, but, if there is, you could screw a 90 degree elbow into the manifold and have the vacuum tree point to rear.
Just an idea, it's cheaper than a new manifold .

I think I would go with a 45 degree elbow. It also move it a little further from the runner and allow for more room to attach the vacuum lines.
