Those hard plastic lines on my truck need replacing. I can use small vacuum hoses to replace those right? Or does someone know where to get some?

Rubber vacuum lines will work fine for that.

A hydraulics store like a "parker" store sells many varieties of plastic tubing as well as rubber

I been looking for either colored striped vacuum hose or colored plastic tubing myself for when I gut my original vacuum system off my '82 and replace it with all new minus most emission systems.

Couldnt find much outside of some people recommending MSC Direct as a source where they got their plastic tubing from.

Plastic, Rubber & Synthetic Tube - MSC Industrial Supply (mscdirect.com)

Inline tube has some painted striped hoses but a lot of what they got is labeled as "Chevrolet" and it doesnt matter as a engine wont know if the stripe is GM based or Ford based when it comes to vacuum hoses.

Silicone is another option, I looked at it myself as well as it has a higher temp range than standard rubber, it isnt attacked by UV and is supposed to last three times as long as traditional rubber hose. I personally dont know as I want to color code my vacuum system and not sure how solid colored silicone vacuum hose would look.

It just hit me I wonder if the plastic lines on my work truck shifter, 18 wheel, as it uses air for low range (1-5) and high range (6-10)?
There might be other lines on the truck that I have not looked that closely at?

If you have a good truck stop that has shift handle extensions they would also carry the plastic line.
I will look over the truck tomorrow and if we get gas at the stations, 70% in NC are out of gas because of the pipe line issue, I will see if the truck stop a few towns over has the line and what side it is.
