I don't want to be pulling the front end off of my truck weekly to try a different LED that may or may not work.
Does anyone have any suggestions or further insight? and thanks again for all of the responses!
Having installed, removed and reinstalled LED headlight bulbs many times on 2017, 2019 and 2020 Super Duty gas trucks, I'll say that you do not have to pull the front end of the truck off.
I could do all 4 lights on my 2019 6.2 in about 15 minutes without grille removal or major dismantling. I have dual batteries on my current 7.3 truck and it still wasn't a bad job. Driver side, remove the filler neck for the washer tank. Passenger side, remove the air breather snorkel. Driver side is a little tricky compared to the passenger side but still much easier and faster than pulling the front end of the truck apart.

Ill take a look later and see if that is possible, but I have the 6.7 diesel motor so there is A LOT of stuff under the hood. But hey, maybe this is my thing to learn today!
My 2017 6.7 could be done without taking off the grille also. As I recall, on one side I took off the air tube from the air filter housing and on the other I removed the washer fluid fill tube.

I wish I had some more info for you. But my experience has been with three 6.2's and the current dual battery 7.3.

I just got home and looked under the hood... it looks like it would be possible for the average person, but I'm 6'7" 260 and have big hands. Maybe if I get the right angle I might be able to make it work. Otherwise I'll have to ask my wife REALLY nicely for help! Either way its definitely worth a try!
If replacing the entire headlamp housings, the grille will need to be removed.
Not sure what is meant above by "entire front end", but only the grille needs to be removed (not front bumper, not fenders, not "entire front end") in order to replace headlight housings.

You are correct. "Entire front end" was an exaggeration. I just remember my 97 GMC where you opened the hood removed the old bulb from the housing, installed the new one and had room to do so... It was a 60 second job, tops.

Unfortunately those days are gone for us. Nothing seems to be easy on these.

My truck is PSD as well. Easy to change the bulbs!

Is the Beamtech decoder just something that plugs in line in the headlight harness? Or is there more wiring involved? (soldering, crimping something like that)

It plugs in-line, no cutting/splicing required. I sent them a message and the sent no charge.
I bought my 2018 xlt used and it came with LEDs in it. I have no idea which ones they are but they are awesome so far. I have put in LEDs in the rear from Amazon and turned off hyper flash in forscan.
Thanks! I'm leaning towards buying the Beamtech bulbs for my XLT.
I like them. they are a noticeable difference without being ridiculously over bright. I would ask for the decoders also just to only have to go in once. And PLEASE, Make sure you take the time to aim them properly after installing. Doing so will make sure you don't blind others or get flashed yourself!!
