One company has. Check out the Morimoto thread (https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...pre-order.html). Unfortunately, greed rears it's ugly head and Morimoto is using the
cost of the factory LED headlight as the basis for pricing their headlamp housings.
Do you know what the cost was for Morimoto to design and develop and bring those lights to market? Do you know what the margin is on each unit and therefore how long it will be before they see a profit? What is the basis for calling them greedy?
Because those housings take the same amount of plastic, require injection molds of the same complexity, require injection machine of the same tonnage, and use the same plastic feedstocks at the stock Ford halogen housings. Both Ford and Morimoto are pricing the LED versions on what the market will bear and not on production costs.
Damn Capitalism!! How DARE they charge what they want!! They should contact us to find out PROPER pricing.
I LOVE my MM's. I did the XB Hybrids, got them on sale, free fogs with them. For $900 delivered,, VERY happy. I have seen the full XB's in action, I don't know they are worth x2 the money, but they are sweet.

If the one company's pricing leaves an opportunity for competition, then it seems likely that yet another aftermarket company may come along soon enough to meet that market demand and offer that competition.
As the 2020 and up Super Duty is still relatively new, it is reasonable to assume that the vast majority of 2020 and up Super Duty owners are still covered under the original factory bumper to bumper warranty.
Therefore, a lot of potential customers might be reticent to change out stock headlamps until their new car bumper to bumper warranty is up.
Recognizing this, the aftermarket industry may feel that they have time to be ready to meet the majority of the anticipated market demand in the future, even if not quite ready for the earliest adopters.
Over the last 25 years, as each generation or iteration of Super Duty model gets introduced, I've often noticed a 2 or 3 year delay between model introduction and peak selection of a variety of aftermarket offerings for that model.
On the passenger side, the entire air breather snorkel will pull out for easy access. On the driver side, you can remove the filler neck on the washer fluid tank. Still tight, but you can get in there and do it.
I also have a dual battery 7.3.
I had Beamtech bulbs in a 2017 & 2019 but I went with Hikari for my 2020. Improvement for sure. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Poncho450, I had the Beamtech bulbs on my 2011 and loved them. I recently traded up to a used 2019 with halogen and have been looking to upgrade from the Halogens to LEDs. At roughly twice the price are the Hikari bulbs worth the extra money? Since you have run both I would like your opinion. Thanks!
Also another dumb question... I know there are 4 bulbs in the headlights but are they all H13 bulbs?

Of course this all very subjective, but yes, I do feel that the Hikari was a worthwhile upgrade from the Beamtech. I think they have a better pattern and are more easily adjustable if you need to dial them in to the correct 3 and 9 o'clock orientation. No set screw to fool with like the Beamtech. And yes, all 4 bulbs are H13.
I also live in a deer rich environment. I have upgraded the H13's in my 2012 to Sylvania Ultras and they made a substantial difference over the stockers. I wouldn't fit LED's into non LED housings for the reasons stated in the article. The reflectors simply are not designed the same. If you run on deserted roads often I would upgrade to better halogens and maybe an additional LED light bar on the bumper. The nest replacement halogens are supposed to be Phillips extreme vision. They claim 100% brighter than regular bulbs. Problem right now is finding them... Good Luck
Thanks all. After all of the recommendations and a little additional research, I did wind up going with the Hikari LEDs. I installed the lights and they are much better than the stock bulbs! I am having one small issue, the lower bulb on the right side will sometimes get a slight flicker and sometimes go out completely but this morning when I checked it was back on. I am still working on diagnosis info but I suspect that it is one of the pins in the connection not making great contact, as it has happened with two different bulbs in this same location. I have not had time to test if its just low beams or both low and high beams. I know its a long shot but has anyone had similar issues? When I have additional info I'll report back...

I had the same issue with flicker and a non working passenger side lower. The stock Ford connectors are crap. I ended up replacing the socket. No issues since.

Did you go with the OEM or an aftermarket part? And do you happen to have a part number readily available? If not I'll find it....
Check out f150leds.com They're not the cheapest, but I think you don't want to go cheap. I installed them on my 2020 F250 and am pleased with them.
I recently bought the amber rear turn signals, reverse lights and tail light bulbs from them for my 2020. As you say, not the lowest cost. But quality merchandise and they sold me the right bulbs first time out. Others sent incorrect bulbs for the turns and the reverse lights. The lower budget LEDs that I had in for tail lights functioned they way they should have but one kept falling out of the socket. Not so with the bulbs from f150leds.
The only caveat is, if your truck has Blind Spot Monitoring, don't buy the rear turn signals. You will already have LED turn signals. I sent a note to F150 LEDs to maybe put that info on their site. I foolishly also bought the LEDs for the cargo lights at the top of the cab before checking. They were also LEDs. F150 LEDs quickly refunded for both.
