Hi guys/gals, just got a few parts through which have been waiting on, one of which was a hood catch for my 53 F100, didn’t realise the spring wasn’t included, anyone got one handy to measure the size so I can look for a suitable spring, did check mid fifty and a 1 dollar spring was 77 bucks to post to UK WTF! Any feedback appreciated. Thanks. Dave
I was asking about the wrong spring. Here is the spring I am looking for. It is for the hood safety catch. Do you have to replace the entire catch? I haven’t taken it off yet to get a close look.
Also, in the second picture is my hood release lever/catch. Is it broken off or is it just a little mangled?
