A few weeks ago after checking for codes, using FORScan Lite, I had the following codes; P0671,3,5, and 7. Those have gone away and seems to have been replaced with P0670. Has the GPCM failed completely? Thanks for any guidance!
One easy way to check is to ohm each plug and wire to see if you have a good resistance in each one.
I found a ton and a half of video's on YouTube about this but also found a VERY informative thread on Powerstroke.org that included a copy of shop procedures on how to test everything dealing with the GP's. Showed socket and pin identifications and step-by-step testing details. The thread was started by ynpmoose on Feb 7, 2014 and is titled 6.0 Glowplug Control Module testing. If you have any DTC's related to glow plugs check it out. (unfortunately my issue is a short between the PCM and the GPCM)
