Went camping this weekend again and took a new picture, does this look better? I haven't returned the bags yet but dont want to install if they are not needed. Truck drives great down the road.

All I can say is since my trucks only real purpose in life is to pull my 5th wheel, I would never own a truck without air bags again.

If you only towed a 5th wheel an hour away twice a month during the summer?

I saw what you were talking about as to what the camera did to your original photo once you pointed it out. The new picture looks much better. You probably don't need air bags. However, I have towed with air bags and an on board compressor for the last ten years and can't imagine not having this set up.Having the adjustable bags gives you options on the fly. If you do not like the way the truck is handling/riding you can change it from inside the cab with the touch of a button on the remote control. The Air Ride system has a small remote control box that you do not have to mount to the interior. You can just set the control somewhere in the cab like the console. The on board air and remote control are the more expensive part of the air bag set up. But I surly would not want to have to be manually adding air prior to your trip then when you unhook at your destination have to drive around with the air bags full equaling a horrible ride and the back of the truck jacked up in the back. With the remote control you just press the in cab button to lower the pressure to the desired amount. You have such a nice set up I surely would not skimp now and I know sometimes justifying the convenience to your wife is the hardest part.

Thats pretty close to exactly like i use mine. Every other weekend is a 4 day weekend for me so we go about 100 miles away to camp friday through sunday, then drive 100 miles home. Drive my equinox to work for 8 of the next 10 days, then repeat.

Looks fine.

If it has snowplow prep springs maybe consider swapping them out if you dont need them. Would get the front end down some. But as mentioned I would only worry about your headlight adjustment as it looks ok as is.

Yes, that looks good in your new photo. I wouldn't do the air bags.

Yeh, I knew I wasnt going to ever mount a plow, so I swapped my springs out for the non snow plow prep springs. Lowered the front about 1" and made the ride a little smother.

I agree with the "leave it as it is crowd", My older truck "squats" quite a bit with the 310GK pin weight but the 5th wheel is level. Last thing you want to do is raise the truck and have the 5th wheel nose high.
