Not sure if this is coolant or tranny fluid. I believe it's coolant. Is this the water pump leaking? Earlier this week while under truck draining engine oil I also noticed this red fluid around the transmission. Not sure if it's the same and finding it's way there or it is a different unrelated leak.
What does the coolant look like in the degas bottle?
The level was down a bit but fluid is clean. I just recently replaced heater valve that busted so had to refill entire coolant system. This is the first time having to add coolant since replacing the leaking heater valve so I know it's leaking again somewhere.
Looks like ec-1 coolant.(Red) If that is what your using? Does the liquid feel oily or like water. To me it looks like a coolant leak.
It's coolant. I did the taste test... 😂. I believe it may be coming from hose that goes from the oil cooler to the egr. It's orange and from what I can see there is alot of wet residue in that valley area.
