Hi, I'm new here. I bought a '67 F100 a few months ago. Took it to the local Ford guy because I was limited in how much time I could spend on it, and even more limited in knowledge and skill.
The engine (352) was bad enough that he suggested sending it off for rebuild, which we did.
The rebuilt engine went back in last week and I took it for a test drive 2 days ago.
Lovely. Purrs like a kitten. Great job by this guy.
When we got back to the shop, we can see the radiator has developed a leak in a seam near the top.
He thinks a new radiator would be a good call.
Any suggestions?
Anyone here have one they'd like to sell?
We called LMC truck and they don't have it...
Thanks for any help.
Once they start leaking around the top getting it repaired is only a temporary fix, it will start leaking again unless you use a non pressure radiator cap. I learned this from my own experience, I had a friend who was a radiator shop owner who repaired it for me and told me to get a new one.
