56 door adjustments and hinge question.

56 door adjustments and hinge question.
Trying to adjust the door gaps on my 56. Not sure why I am doing this as I was rebuilding ...actually adding a new vent seal on my division bar. I figured as long as I had my glass out now might be the time to make them better. Also the upper door gaps to the cowl and under the rain gutter has always been too big slmost 9/32 compare to the manual specified 5/32. My issue is they even though I can get the door in pretty good alignment. It won't stay open after I am all done. I have been trying to adjust little by little on the piller to hinge bolts, and I am not making any progress. I even now am starting on Square 1 on all the door adjustments again. Even the hinges don't seem to have any slop, could I have a bad upper hinge?

On second thought, it looks like my upper hinge is sagging, which is probably the reason the door keeps trying to slowly shut itself. Looks like repin or new hinges time..
