Hey guys,
I am in the putting things back together stages on my frame off restoration project. For the life of me I can not recall what this clip came off of and its driving me nuts. Its in my bag of parts from taking the steering column and brake pedal assembly out of my 1979 F-350 4x4 apart.
Its possible I placed it in the wrong bag though. Crazy thing is I remember removing it because I was surprised how easy it came out. I just cant remember what I removed it from.
My truck is automatic but my other truck is manual. Maybe this was from that truck. Your picture does look like it. I will check it out. Thanks for giving me a place to start looking.
Sorry not a outa the ballpark hit, but at least maybe I got a piece of it. I do not remember any piece that looks like that in any steering column diagrams.
dlburch thank you !
That is my part. The other illustrations shown look like they may be the same clip as well in other areas but now I remember removing that clip from my emergency brake cable in the cab.
Thank you all for your time guys !
