I am putting my 77 F-250/Dodge Cummins back together and I can't find the bracketry for the steering column. Isn't there a bracket that bolts under the dash for the column to attach to with the two slotted holes? I can't find mine and wanted some clarification before I build one.
I am swapping my cab onto a 96 Dodge Cummins frame. The Cummins is in a state of rebuild as of now. I'm saving $ for the parts. I am using the pedal assembly/MC from the Dodge to retain the correct brake performance and simplify things. Now I need to fit the column, and the bungee cords I have holding it in place move around a little too much to leave it that way. Might as well bolt it down solid. I'd post some pics if I could figure out how to do it.
The bracket is part of the brake pedal assembly. There should be a slotted bracket that is welded to the steering column to attach to the pedal assembly.
