My 2001 F350 is having a delayed starting issue. Batteries are new FoMoCo and new starter as well. Fuel filter is new and l cleaned the bowl out. GP are working as the voltage drops to around 11v. The truck cranks for an extended period and lights off with no issue. No excess smoke or anything out of the normal once it is running. PCM is an NVK4 with PMT1 files but does it when it is bypassed at 00 too.
If I start the truck and shut it off for 30 seconds or so I get the same delay.
Since it does the same delayed start right after shutting it off, I wouldn't suspect a LPOP (HPOP reservoir) leak down. Might be worth checking though as it is easy and on the top.
I see your voltage drop via the Tekonsha, do you know if all of the GP's or only a couple are working properly? I don't know what the voltage drop is if only 2 out of 8 are working is, but like Wesley I am spit balling.
Any way to check live data? ICP and IPR% could show us if the hpo is getting above 500# to fire the injectors. If it is then fuel or electrical is the problem. If not then IPR or pump failing or a leak in hpo system.
The truck ended up sorting itself out. I ran it for about 2 hours and afterwards the delayed start went away completely. It must have had something to do with the truck sitting for a few months.
