I had ordered similar ones from Amazon last week and sent it back because I was under the impression it was a direct fit and easy swap. I wasn't in the mood to cut & splice wires so I sent it back. I am not sure why there aren't any aftermarket suppliers of CHMSL lights for the Excursion that are a direct fit. Heck there are headlights and tail lights out there.....

My '94 Geo Metro had sun faded and hazy tail lights and black plastic side mirror when I bought it, so I took them off clay barred them, sanded flat with 1000 grit then 1500, buffed them out with a DA machine and rubbing compound and finally with again with polishing compound then synthetic wax. Those parts are the shiniest parts of my little fuel sipper, even now almost five years later they still shine with only infrequent wax jobs. With a little time and elbow grease you can get great results reconditioning plastic parts.
