brake indicator light
The little light that is above the emergency brake that glows red and says brake is staying on all the time on my truck. i have the light out of it now but i was just wondering why it burns all the time. Is this a warning light for brake faliure or for an emergency brake on? i have an all new brake system on my truck so there is nothing wrong with the brakes. any ideas??

Loosen a front brake bleeder screw and push the pedal down until the light goes out. Tighten the valve. If that doesn't work loosen a valve on the rear, follow same procedure, when light goes out tighten the bleeder valve. If the equalizing valve still won't center take the switch off at the combination valve and pry it to center. I'd almost bet you do not have rear brakes! just a random thought!
