My tailgate was rusting from the inside and beat to hell. On marketplace i found a repop for 100$ that was used as a movie prop so will see what the fitment is like
I am not sure what caused this dent, it wasnt a roll over as the roof is fine. couldn
t find a patch for a reasonable price so took the stud welder and the hammer pull to it. Came out decent, no more than 1/8" of filler at its deepest
The passenger side bedside was a dogs breakfast. I got a great deal on the bed and the floor is solid, wheel wells are dented as it was used for hauling on a farm. I have already changed out the drivers side with all new metal so I think I will just carry on with the body work on this side and get it looking as best as I can knowing I will order a new bedside down the road.
Came across more issues with passenger side while stripping paint pin holes became more prevalent but I had already purchased some patch panels so figured I would get a little more time on the welder. Not my best weld but not my worst! Definitely a lot of daylight coming through the piece I removed.
Got the bed into epoxy primer followed by high build urethane so that i can start blocking and see how much work still needs to be done. Other than the floor pans the interior was basically a scuff and prime.
