I think all that has been rednecked in there from a long wheelbase truck. The factory wouldn't have done something like that. That's another thing Sixtfour if you buy an AOD get one that uses a slip yoke in the transmission tail shaft housing otherwise a one piece shaft will have to have the slip joint on the shaft itself and that will double the cost of having one made.

Maybe someone shortened a long wheel base frame and added the short bed? What wheel base does you VIN show?
