Cleaning upper phlenum

I took the throttle body off and it was packed with carbon. How do I clean the upper plenum it looked nasty as well.

Removing it best bet or a squirt bottle full of seafoam, or throttle body cleaner, spray into each throttle body bore, while running and keep giving it gas so it dont die out.
