Alternator issue
I have an 2002 Ford that will not charge I have traced it down enough to know I’m not getting power to the orange wire on the three wire plug witch is suppose to be battery power. I’m guessing it fuseable like E but does anyone know can I supply power to a pin in that wire and make sure it powers the system then. Also anyone know where in the harness fusible link E might be?

Can you tell us what the voltage is (measured at the battery terminal) with the key off, with the engine idling and with the engine revved up a little (say 2k RPM or so)?

mmmmm ... click on the "Bad Regulator Wire" link in my signature below and read through that thread. It may be the same issue.
