Rough couple of weeks! Been working my tail off, went to a ladies house to look at a leak , water all the way down her driveway, water is still running, jump out of the truck to grab the water key, Busted my *** like someone kicked my feet out from under me!
I knew it was icey , but did think about it, to much of a hurry , gather myself up and get the water key, My phone rings i grab it from my back pocket!!! It is trashed, apparently still working as i just got a call , but screen is shattered, good thing i have insurance! new one ordered
with all the snow and ice we have had here ti's been just a little hectic, people don't know how to drive , had to evade some knucklehead driving way to fast , passed me , I'm in 4x4 high doing about 15 mph, he gets sideways I had to go up and over a median to keep from wrecking my truck! took out 3 of my tires!
Been over a week without a phone, new tires all around, I am not going anywhere for a couple days, till my hunting trip on tuesday!
Just can not afford anymore mishaps! LMAO time for some whiskey in my coffee and just sit here with my dogs in my jammies!

Oh yea to top it all off internet has been spotty as heck! 2 routers later they had to replace the line to the house! SMH
Sous i was in contact with the fellow that had the pedestal , i ordered the deleted one from Riff Raff it will probably get here before my phone does!

Good grief!!! Yeah, that's been the deal here in some spots. Once the snow fell, getting around really wasn't a big deal. The news made way more drama of it than was really necessary.

today was the first morning I didn't have fresh snow on my truck since Sunday.
I would rather deal with a pile of snow than freezing rain/ice. The freezing rain can do so much more damage and usually causes long term power outages. Back in 98 we had major ice storm that affected a lot of
eastern Canada and some were out of power for almost three weeks.

I can't believe the weather there. ABQ is one of our vacation spots as I have lots of family in the area. The thing I dislike most about ABQ is those short merging lanes onto I-25, why'd you make em so short? They just dump you out into the traffic lanes with no room for error. Other than that we love ABQ and really all of NM, will visit soon but not in this weather!

Lmao well often we get what they get if it dips that far we enjoy it too! I rather doubt they can drive any better there ! People doing 40 plus on this light snow not realizing it all ice under the snow! Crash after crash , I hope they are all ok and have good insurance!
I am sitting at a friend's house in Lafayette, LA right now thanks to this weather. We left home 2 weeks ago yesterday on what was supposed to be a week vacation, returning home on the 14th. Well, there is a a sheet of icy and nasty roads between us and home! Definitely feeling the pain of everyone with this weather. Had I known this was going to happen I would have went ahead and made plans to attend the North Georgia GTG! This has been quite the long distance shakedown with the pickup and fifth wheel!
