Just wondering if anyone else used the kit from Tony’s Car Care. I installed it last night in my 1995 F150 XLT. Took about 15 minutes and worked without a hitch. Couldn’t be happier. It wasn’t the cheapest system, but I didn’t have to do anything with the doors like the kits they sell on Amazon.
All it requires is connect a few wires to existing wires in the passenger kick panel - no modification, nothing to do behind the door panels. It works in the same manner that the Ford Keyless Entry would have worked. Lights even flash and the horn even honks when locking. Panic button works too. All of the cheap versions I saw on Amazon looked like they were a pain to install. This was super easy.
It was $220 shipped - but in my humble opinion - well worth it. He doesn't have a website, you just contact him directly. I contacted him through his facebook page via messenger. He's very responsive there.
I did the same thing from parts bought from amazon for my truck that didn't have electric door locks. Wasn't hard to figure out ( but then I am an Industrial electrician} it included a starter kill / alarm is the main reason I got it then I wired in both the truck horn and a 130 db air horn to work along with the alarm.. I can understand people wanting plug and play as for most, electrical circuits can get confusing.
I salute you! I am in no way educated or knowledgeable with automotive wiring, so, having something plug and play was worth the investment to me.
Any insight on how I could install a kill switch? I swapped out the ignition recently because you could turn the truck on with a stick... So having a kill switch would be great.

Thanks!
Actually it's not that hard, there are many video's showing you how to install a kill switch. The way mine works is if the key is not in the ignition and turned on with the alarm system disabled, it does them no good.. it still won't even attempt to crank. Example : I set the alarm, bad dude figures out I have an alarm system after the horn /air horn go off, punches out the ignition switch, starter is still disabled. By then I probably have figured out what is happening and that he should make a hasty exit or... were it legal I would have a 1 minute delay if someone managed to bypass my alarm system ,start my truck and drive away, and then the truck just grenaded. BTW.. I do have stickers warning idiots that the truck has an anti- theft device installed. Criminals are not known for being all that bright.
The biggest mistake people make when doing automotive wiring power taps is using quick connects or T taps.. I actually soldered each joint and made them permanent. So far so good for the 2 stage system I installed and expanded.
