I agree, that's rediculous that they don't put a tach on every vehicle. A tach on a stick is the most important guage. You know what guage is completely useless to me, yet it is on every vehicle.....the battery current guage. What the heck is that for anyway. it always stays in the same spot, until you come out one day and your car doesn't start, then the guage is at the bottom. Some warning! That guage is stupid. Why do they make such an effort to put a useless guage on your car but forget about the tach???
Duuuuhhhhhhhhh!!!!! I'm starting an anti-battery-guage-thingy club to have a petition drawn up to get that stupid guage off the vehicles.
I'll call it DABGT. Dudes Against Battery Guage Thingy's.

I just saw your comment on my gallery regarding the nos kit.
Get the NX kit...Nitrous Express. They have a kit exactly for the 4.2. It fits flawlessly and works great. The other kits are outdated. The NX kit is the newest generation kit.
Get the base kit. Try Ken at MotorHaven.com first. I don't know if he sells them. If not, get it from www.Jegs.com. Those guys are great. 550.00 buckaroos for the entire kit. And it is so much fun to play with, unlike a supercharger, you can buy unlimited amount of accessories for years to come. This will always keep you entertained. The supercharger for 3500 bucks, once you put it in you forget about it pretty much. I prefer the nitrous because I'm a tinkerer....I love a good tinkering!!
If you get it, the installation instructions can seem a bit overwelming. I go over the whole install with you step by step. + I'll take 50 pictures of every aspect of the install on my truck so you can see what each piece looks like when properly mounted.
Now you've got me excited dude. I wanna play. Hurry up and get it!!!!!!!!!!! Come on, you know you want it.
Check out the site. www.nitrousexpress.com
It's such sweet stuff....plus, the best part......The chrome sticker it comes with for the back window of your truck, so that everyone knows your spraying. Pleople hit me up with questions everyday. It's a great conversation piece and goes well with a burgundy or red table wine.

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
My weekend bites! This week I got the new tires, filled the NX bottle up, went up to a 50 shot, and just installed Taylor HP plug wires....all set to blow low 16's on Friday and Saturday night.
My whole week was planned around this.
Friday.....RAIN....Saturday.....RAIN.....Sunday... .Depression!
I don't even want to get out of bed.
On the upside though, coming home from the track last night after they shut it down for a rain-out, I pulled up to a stop light and single cab v8 chevy pulled up next to me. I knew it was a V8 because I could hear the exhaust tone from his dual exhausts out the back. He was reving the motor and creeping forward...obvious he wanted to race. His truck sounded powerful.
So, i reached behind my seat, turned the bottle on, put my finger on the switch and waited for green.
the light turned green and I punched it. I had to wait until 2200 rpm to hit the nitro....however, by 2200rpm, i was already pulling away from the chevy without the nitrous. so i just took my finger off the button and sat back to enjoy blowing his doors off without it. it was cool, put a temporary smile on my face.
