I've been having an issue with my Excursion lately. It seems when I come to a stop and then try to accelerate it stalls. Not all the time, just sometimes. Almost feels like driving a carbureted gasser that feels like it is flooding out. When it does, I throw it in neutral and it fires right back up. I've check Forscan a couple of times and its not throwing any codes. The high pressure oil pump and IPR valve were replaced last summer. The ICP was last changed with a Motorcraft 3 years ago. Doesn't matter if it's warmed up or cold. Thoughts?
The IPR pigtail is always a good suspect also. A close inspection of the wiring harness never hurts.I don't see a tuner listed in your sig, is there one installed?
You're the man!!! I checked the valley and sure enough the nut was there, cleaned everything up, grabbed some locktite and put it back on. Thank God the engine still had some heat as it is -5 F. Have a great evening.
