Windshield brow strip tint - Failed State Inspection
I guess I didn't make it clear of the history in the original post. When I got the truck tinted, I originally didn't want an eyebrow tint because I never had one before. But the shop convinced me with a good combo deal. And I asked them to do everything according to the state law. When it was done, I immediately noticed and pointed out the brow tint came down low. They explained it's due to the curve of the windshield and they do this all the time. My mistake is I did not look into the state tint requirement on the brow at the moment. They are not a small shop and tint a lot of cars everyday. So I took their words and moved on. When I found out the failed inspection and researched the state tint law couple days ago, I was pissed but I guess lessons learned.
I just talked to a different tint shop that also does state inspection. They will remove the brow tint for me ($60 labor) and do the inspection. So yeah no more brow tint for me.

I'm sure they would understand.
