can you or has anyone used the wires that go to the B&O subwoofer for the high level inout on an aftermarket amp? My amp says it can use high or low power inputs for the amp inputs. Alpine MRV-M500 amp. I did the that same thing in my last 2012 f150 with the song system but was curious if it would work the same or not? Has anyone done this? Seems like an easy way to install an after aftermarket amp/subwoofer. TIA!

I used it as high-level inputs into my Kicker KXA400.1. It works great to the little 8" Kicker CompR. I miss the fullness of my JL stealthbox, but I decided to keep the under seat storage in this truck and just use the stock enclosure, crappy as it is. Overall, pretty tight and clean.
If you use the B&O outputs you'll get a reduced signal at higher volumes and it might cut out lower frequencies. The stock DSP does this to protect the crap B&O speakers at high volume, so it will work, but you'll be limiting your upgraded subs abilities. I would get a full signal from the head unit and run that to your subs. If you want quick and easy though, it'll do.
