There is three reasons Fuel gives for this. I don't understand all of them.
1. The stems are offset and allow for nitrogen purging.
2. The dual stems allow for one to be plugged and the other to be out of the way of off road debris.
3. The wheel shape inhibits the TPMS so the TPMS gets mounted where it clears and the other is the fill port..
These are the reasons I was given by them years ago.
