Put egt#3 on the list
defective egt sensors put the engine in no start mode.
best way to test is to use forscan
start it cold write down all the egt temps
you know the bad one if when cold you get super high temps on one and low on the rest
the bad one will run hundreds of degrees in error.
the wait period let’s you start becuase the egt returns to its cold state.
#3 is usually the culprit

Thanks to all that replied. After several tries by the FORD dealer, they determined I needed a transmission heat sensor. Now I'm battling to negotiate a fair price for the repair as I believe FORD replaced a perfectly good ignition switch.
BTW....they want to charge me $900 to replace tranny fluid, a new tranny filter and a sensor. I estimate the complete job will take less than two hours.
