Engine Stalls
I have a 1986 F250 4x4.
Problem: Engine stalls shortly after starting.
I can start the truck in the morning , drive six miles to work with no problem.
At noon I can start the truck and drive approximately 150-200 yards and the engine stalls. It's as if the key were turned off. It will start in about 5-10 minutes with no problem the rest of the day. However, if I touch the accelerator it will not start until the next morning. It does the same thing in the evening when I leave work, start drive 150-20 yards and stall etc.
I checked and cleaned the screen filter in the carb. Did not help.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
