Yes! Change your oil and filter several times when the engine is breaking in to remove contaminants and metal shavings from assembly and break in.

I hope you get your carb situation fixed and the 223 purring. This Covid crap has slowed down my traveling but maybe some day in the future I can stop by when I'm out that way and see your truck.
