Those 2 oil filters might have better specs than the Motorcraft filter and it's not necessary, especially at twice the price of the FL2051.

All my UOA come back fine using the stock filter. Fuel dilution is more of an issue that oil filtration.

I have 205k miles on my 6.7PSD using nothing but Motorcraft filters and the way my truck runs today (knock on wood) feels like it can go another 200k miles easily.

My filter was "leaking" after I changed oil. This seems to have fixed it.
