I have a 2011 F250 6.7 with 145,000 miles that I bought this summer. It is having the intermittent turn the key and no crank issue. But to add a different wrinkle sometimes you can turn the key off wait a few seconds turn it back on glow plug indicator stays on longer and then it cranks. But it always cranks if you remote start it and after its warm it cranks and starts I have no idea where to start so any help would be greatly appreciated.
You might have a starter going out. My 2015 did similar. Had no start, no DTC's. If I charged the batteries it would start at times. Finally it stopped starting even with remote start fob.
Here are a couple checks you can make. You could also remove the starter and have a local parts house check it for you.
