Excursion v10 possible pcm problems

So the other day my 2000 excursion v10 overdrive light starts flashing (which usually means death of a trany) . But what’s weird about this is all the sudden the engine starts missing , won’t except throttle (except in second gear) , didn’t have first gear , banged into drive hard . So long story bearable, In a single event I went from no codes to over 20 codes not all transmission related . Lean bank 1 , lean bank 2 , bad evap system, all shift solenoids not working , torque converter locked , ect. 17 codes on one of my testers and 30 on the more advanced one . I’m thinking pcm????

done any, and i mean ANY, wiring, radio work, modding in the last few months? if so go into extreme detail.

checked all the fuses? any blown, list their numbers. and even post a pic indicating them if possible.

Checked battery voltage when off and when running? if so post them.

Alternator Tested? Battery Tested? Alternators can cause crazy **** to happen when they **** the bed in certain ways.

Give us the complete list of codes you are actively popping, even if they look BS, let us be the judge of that, because sometimes it helps to understand, as one problem can actually cause false symptoms of another, so leave nothing out.

I haven’t tested alt. yet . I’ve done no modifications recently except shocks and brakes . I’ll have to check alt & fuses after this event .I’ll do that and list my codes as well . Thanks - to be continued ....

Shocks and brakes, including the booster/master cylinder or just the rotors/pads/calipers, aka lower items?

Details, that is where the devil always hides?

lower items only . Rotors and pads. I definitely see where that can go though .....in engine compartment knocked something off or broken wires , ect .

Not familiar with the gas X as mine is 6.0 diesel. Not sure how many miles are on your X. I would suggest you swap the PCM power relay with another. It may be a 70 amp relay (two pins larger then others) or a standard 30/40 amp (all pins the same size). I have found that relays are the cause of many electrical problems.

FWIW, I replace all of the relays on my X annually. IMO, aftermarket relays are better then the expensive OEM relays.

Blown fuse (or open circuit) that feeds all of those actuators/solenoids, etc. Probably fuse F19 under the hood. Leave the rest of the fuses and all of the relays alone, they cannot cause this set of symptoms.

Don't make this more complicated than it needs to be.

Fuses do not just blow without cause. Unless you can identify something that specifically caused it, the underlying issue is still there.
