That the thing right now, I'm up against the clock. We're rolling out in the morning headed to Gatlinburg. And I have to have my lights lol
In that case, probably better to reinstall the halogens and play with the LEDs later, but I still think you stand to gain improvement by tinkering with the bulb clock position.
I dont know anything about those but quality, brightness and beam pattern can vary a lot between bulbs. I spent a lot of time researching before I bought mine from headlight revolution. They also do a lot of research on the stuff they sell.
You got that right. Next time you need a doctor get the one who charges $100 for an operation as opposed to the other guys charging $2K. I did my home work too, on my last 3 Super duty halogen to led bulb conversions. There's a big difference in a lot of aspects beside lumens. I paid a little north of $350 for 4 lights everything included. I think price is one of the indicators of quality. You get what you pay for. Some one ripping people off with premium prices and poor quality doesn't last long on an open market. I think price is usually indicative of what it cost the maker to produce. I want the best when it comes to stuff like that. "Headlight Revolution" all the way.
Well just to follow up, I removed the LEDs from my F350. They were in fact installed correctly. Clocked precisely at 9 and 3. So... I don't know. I put my halogens back in, we're leaving in the morning headed to Gatlinburg towing our camper, have to have reliable lights.
I had the goofy beam when I put mine in. Ended up one was not seated correctly. I started swapping them around to see if it was a bad bulb just to find one was not seated all the way and had gone in at an angle. Pulled it out all thew way and put it back and problem solved. But I did mine with out pulling the grill so it was a little tougher and I guess easier to mess it up. Been perfect since.
