Those look like halogens? I wonder why they have a glass casing and painted tip like a halogen? This one is from my Wife's van but the ones in my truck are the same style. I'm gonna say send those back and get a different brand.

Sorry, when you asked if that was a picture of my actual leds, I thought you meant the picture of the lights looking out of the windshield. The halogens are what was in my truck, I just took that picture to show the post.. And myself.. That the orings came out with the halogens.
I don’t know that brand but see if there is an adjustment for the depth. Some have a set screw that lets you adjust the depth. I agree with you that something is bad wrong.

Well I guess my question was confusing as well so I apologize,
I'll put a picture up later today, I'm taking the LEDs out and reinstalling my halogens. The LEDs look so good in the truck, until you try to drive and see with them. I even used Forscan to go in and see if I needed to change anything to run the LEDs, but didn't really find anything.
Sounds very strange. First question—what bulbs are you using? Second question—did you make sure to get all the orings out with the stock bulbs? They like to stick to the housing and you wouldn’t be the first to try to install new bulbs over old orings.
In my experience it's pretty much impossible to install bulbs in these trucks with a double gasket. Forcing it enough to do so is going to break something.
Schlepprock, did you check the height adjustment? Some guys have said that makes a large difference. I know that when I first installed Beamtech in December of 2017 in a 2017 F 250 the height was maxed out right off the dealers lot and I had to bring them down.
Other than that I can't help you much on the bulb you chose. Never seen that brand. You say you've already clocked them at the 3 and 9 positions so I think height adjustment is all you have left for an option on those.
This looks like it might just be an issue clocking the bulb, or with the placement (depth) of the bulb inside of the reflector. You can distinctly see where each diode is casting light outward in the picture posted, with none of the light being cast forward. The light on the driver's side of your truck is being cast by the passenger headlight and vice versa.

This is what I thought too.Looks like a clocking issue.
