Hey there, new to posting but have looked through this forum for great troubleshooting info! Now I think I need a harness minus the engine harness if anyone knows a source or has a good one to sell? I have a 96 f250 extra cab 4wd. I have a short somewhere affecting my ac and cruise control and have spent crazy hours ohming out every wire but just can’t track it down. I think at this point replacing the harness would be a more straightforward solution. Thanks in advance!
Riffraff does, albeit sometime recently. I know they used to only sell the SD harness until a year or two ago.
A lot of times, Clay at Riffraff, Bob at Diesel-O-Rings or Matt at Bitterroot can get you what you need, even if they don't have it listed on their site. For example, a few years ago I wanted to replace the high pressure steering hose that is prone to failure on the SD. I did not see it listed on the Riffraff site by description or Motorcraft part number.
I sent Clay an email and he responded asking for my VIN. I sent the VIN and a short time later he sent me the Motorcraft part number and the price. We did the deal over email and it showed up in my "recent orders" once it was processed. The hose fit well and now if it fails, at least I will know I did what I could.
