1987 f150 4.9 im missing my breather cap that a hose hooks to and runs to the small filter in the air filter box. Can I put a elbow there and run a hose to the small filter? Is there a filter in original cap?Also does the hose itself go on the small air filter and held by clips or is there a fitting for that also. I've looked online and seen several caps that looks like what I need but saids it doesn't fit my truck. I'm searching using 1987 f150 4.9 crankcase breather cap. I would really like to find this at a local parts store but having no luck on there sites pulls up small filter only.
I'll post a pic of what I found but saids it for 90 -96. Have not been able to find how the hose attaches to small filter. I'd really like to keep it a closed loop system. Saids fits a 90 thru 96
