Breather filter

I was trying to locate the breather filter on my 95 F-150 5.0.It was not in the air box or on the oil filler cap or in the tube going from the air box to the engine.No other hoses are coming from this area.Any help would be appreciated.

Have you owned this truck since new? Somebody could have removed it and never replaced it.

Is there a hose going to the breather box or the intake hose from the box to the throttle body? On my Aero that is where it goes is on the main hose, draws the air filtered by the air filter.

If it is like my 95, there is no breather filter, because it takes in air after the air filter, hence no need for a seperate filter.

mvoeller2, That was what I was thinking.Just wanted to know if anybody else found it on their 95.Is yours a EB edition?

No, mine is just a xlt lariat. I think Ford got rid of the breather filter when they changed from speed density to mass air flow. My old 88 had the breather filter, but both my 95 truck and my brothers 94 have the no filter setup.
