So while attempting to make a left hand turn (in front of oncoming traffic) tonight my truck essentially stalled. I was rolling in the intersection and rolled out into the oncoming lanes with no power. After the 3rd jab at the accelerator the truck accelerated with about 20 yards between me and the on coming car. This is my second incident with a non-responsive throttle. Anyone else dealing with this? I thought that if I ever got death wobble it would be the end of my Ford ownership but one more dead acceleration pedal and it will be sold (if I'm not dead).
Yep, mine does same thing. Very scary sometimes. My tuner is in route from 5star in hopes of fixing the transmission/torque management programming. I will update this thread and another thread recently regarding same issues that I refer to as "dead pedal".
Fly by wire throttle. if you punch it you will get no response. A light throttle will have better results. A pedal commander maybe something to check out.

I rolled into the first application thinking I had plenty of time, the 2nd and 3rd were more of $%#& stomps as the on coming car closed the gap. It wasn't a lag it was ZERO response.

My truck will: fall on its face, stumble, hesitate, lack any throttle response at light throttle, rolling a stop, or trying to get on it.
Sounds like traction control.. particularly during an aggressive accelerating turn. Breaks the inner tire free, senses the slip, and cuts power for a couple seconds. Double tap the traction control button if you know you’ll have a spirited turn (before you start it).

I have long tried that on mine, hoping for a fix, no such luck.
I think a trip to the dealer....emphasis on the danger of the unresponsive throttle. Maybe a flash will help cure this ??
I get a slight hesitation at low speeds when jumping on it..I was hoping my new AFE filter was going to help that....I will mention the hesitation when I bring it in for the first oil change....about 10 months since I took delivery, less than 5k on her now
Take it out somewhere and try hard acceleration in a straight line. Duplicate the pedal input but no turning. If the "false start/face flop" can not be duplicated then try some hard corner acceleration as you have described. If it works OK in a straight line but not around corners there may be something to the traction control theory.
Then I guess the next step would be the same testing with traction control turned completely off.

That sounds plausible, I was on some broken asphalt. I didn't feel any slip though. Another reason I wish that we could get a oem lsd instead of an elocker.
Could be, I feel it contributes to some of my hesitation. I have found that on a slow acceleration from stop, my truck will skip from 1st to 3rd, it is at that time I have noticed hesitation or stall feeling. At such slow speeds the 3.55 being in 3rd gear, is not very responsive. I have over 21k miles on the truck, the one thing is that none of the issues are consistent in a daily driving pattern. I experienced the best improvement running in Tow/Haul mode as opposed to turning off TC or Advance Trac all together by holding the button for 5 seconds.
