On edit I see you have already replaced the injection pump and still have fuel in the oil. Are you running a electric lift pump or mechanical?

Basic questions.

How do you know it is diesel fuel?

Are you seeing the oil level rise on the dipstick? How long does it take you to notice more oil in crankcase?

did you change the injectors when you changed the IP ?

these diesels dirty the oil real quick when the oil is changed not like Japanese Diesels where the oil stays clear for several thousand miles

IF it's not making oil then I wouldn't worry about it.

Fuel in oil

Oil level keeps rising on dip stick. I put dye in front fuel tank and ran it. Showed up on dip stick

If it were mine, I'd back track to the mechanical fuel pump and verify there is not an internal leak before looking at a leaking seal in the IP.... There are just not that many places for cross contamination. A little bit of dye can go a long way.

Your lift pump might be leaking into the crankcase. I'm skeptical you have fuel in the oil, but that would be the most likely culprit.

The mechanical fuel pump on my 6.9l failed and pumped diesel fuel into the crankcase. It was a fast enough leak that I drained the oil, dropped the oil filter and added new oil and the level was high on the dipstick after a 10 mile drive. After I replaced the mechanical fuel pump the problem was fixed.
