I'm getting ready for vacation (trip) with my kids and replaced the fuel filter todayl. Unfortunately, the return line connector broke off! i've ordered a replacement but it won't be here until Monday (we leave this Friday). Any risk of running without this line attached? I'll put about 250 miles on between now and getting the replacement part. not exactly sure what this line does.
so what I would do is to take that connector off the return port of the filter. Get a rubber hose (compatible with fuel) and clamp it onto the port of the filter. The other end you will want to clamp a piece and stainless steel tubing from the new hose to the return line. Clamps for everything.

yep
that will work as a road side fix.
I would add to use more than 1 clamp. its not a super high pressure return so it should stay on.
also, where are you located...odds are someone on the forum gas one they can front you...I have one in my glove box....im in NYC.
