Were they different? Could you share them if they were? I'm still waiting on my new fob, so haven't had a chance to try the steps I found. Thanks!

i think they were. He had me do the procedure out of the 2020 owners manual.

since a 2017 owner will not have a 2020 user manual, could you copy and paste the new procedure? Thanks

I learn something every time I get on here. You guys rock. If I spent half as much time reading the owners manual as I do here, I guess I would already know this. Having said that, I still have buttons that I don't know what they do...

I second that any info you could provide on the procedure you used would be helpful.

I checked my 2020 owners manual on page 59 (REPLACING A LOST KEY OR REMOTE CONTROL) and all it states is - Replacement or additional keys or remote controls can be purchased from your authorized dealer. Your dealer can program the transmitters to your vehicle. I couldn't find any instructions on programming a replacement or additional key fob.
