In your first post you said " believe the last characters are CNA."
In the post a few above, the decoded calibrator information shows your EEC-IV having that engineering number.

When you attempt to pull codes from EEC, do you get the '111' code, or is there just no blinking light when you attempt to get codes?

I already knew that but thank you, the pic was posted in response to a previous one that it was stated their vehicle didn't come with one. I have already replaced the computer in my truck about 2 years ago when it just up and died on me.

New update: I sure my eec is actually fine. I wouldn’t get any flashing but initially i only used a wire to jump. Before spending the money I picked up some blade style plugs in and now I’m actually getting codes. So good news my eec is good! I still think it’s a junkyard pull however and after fixing the rest of the mechanical issues if I’m still have if issues I’ll get try a new one.

The codes with key on engine running were 44, 13 and 25. I’m currently doing my research on them them but right now I’m not chasing anything until after I change the valve cover gasket, intake manifold gasket, egr gasket and a few others that will be removed while I change the valve cover gasket. Hopefully I’ll find my high idle issue. After that I’m pulling the bed off to check the fuel tanks. The previous owner said that the intank fuel pumps were replaced but when it runs on tank 1 It keeps dying after awhile even at idle, usually after warm up when the idle increases. I already changed the fuel tank selector with a new genuine tank selector but still has issues. But first I need to solve the high idle. You guys all over this website have been very helpful. Thank you

44 - thermactor air
13 - RPM idle out of range/ low
25 - knock no sensed during dynamic response test.

Code 25 was probably operator error if you didn’t momentarily floor the gas pedal when prompted.

What codes did you get when doing the KOEO test and are they active or stored codes? You are supposed to repair any of those codes before running the engine running test.

I can’t remember the number off hand but it was high voltage and that was the only one. I’m attributing that one to my park brake not turning off right now. Just another thing to fix

I disagree. The parking brake is not tied into the PCM. A problem with the brake lamps could cause a torque converter lockup code but that does not apply to your manual transmission truck.

I’ll get the code as soon as I can but I lost fuel pressure again and the fuse is fine. I may try changing the hp fuel pump but I got the valve cover gasket replace along with the new intake gaskets. Just need to get it running and see if that fixed my vacuum leak. But it snowed, it’s cold and I’m going back to work soon. I’ll update it as soon as I get the code.

I’m going to try to end this thread because my issues no long have anything to do with the original question and I know there are plenty of threads having to deal with the fueling issue. Thank you all for your help and I look forward to hearing from you all in future threads!
