302 general rebuild question

Hello, second post. Putting my 90's 302 back together after solving lockup issue. Thanks for help. Engine had sat for awhile and junk built up in top of pistons causing lockup. All is good and I am putting it back together. Cylinders look good, timing chain good, valves good.
Heres my Question... Just installed period correct front sump pan with new oil pan (building 1970 F100). Had motor lifted in order to swap pans to make job easier. Got everything back as far as pan and have dropped engine down on motor mounts... Hmmm, got to thinking about it as I'm hoping I never have to take pan off again. I didn't use thread locker on oil pickup? No lock washers either as I recall. Also last pan bolt (right rear bigger size) didn't act like it wanted to tighten properly. You know what I mean. Acted like it could keep turning although I didn't push it. I ended up putting thread locker on that and just gingerly snugged it up. I'm at a crossroads and not sure which way to turn. Do I need to pull pan and correctly do oil pickup with thread locker and maybe lock washers AND check out that last pan bolt and fix if needed?

As engine sits now (heads off, etc.), I could do the job in 2 to 3 hours and have total confidence in result. Later should problems come up because of these issues I will be looking at many more aggravating troubleshooting and labor hours. Which way would you turn?

I'm learning. 1. Before bolting on major stuff, think through what you are covering up. 2. Where do I use thread lock solution in general?

If you have any doubts, definitely get back into it now to double check everything before proceeding.

Stock oil pickup tube had lockwashered bolts. As for that corner pan bolt ? It reallly needs good threads to seal the corner of the pan. Better to rmove it all and drill and helicoil that hole.
