oil pan interchangability
(1994 F150 302 engine)
Napa is telling me they don't have them, and can't get them (even though I show a Balkamp pan on napaonline.com)
I don't have an Autozone in town.
Oreilly doesn't have them.
My local place, Jocko's doesn't have them.
Here's my question: Can I just use a common 302 pan with a rear sump??
I mean that's all it looks like to me, but it does ahve a protrusion on the lower part of the pan (possibly for oil pump clearance or something?)
The dealer has pans of course, for 140 dollars. And I don't want to throw another turd quality pan on there if possible.
So, what am I up against here?

Thanks,
Luke
It's very hard to navigate, and I didn't see any engine parts for sale there.
My truck's pan doesn't have any sort of front sump from what I can tell.
(which will make it easier to remove)
The one pictured at the brono site has a small sump up there, so even if it'd bolt up to the block, I imagine it would make it a lot harder to get the pan in there if it has the mini sump.
I'm trying to find any cross references though, so I don't spend 100 dollars on a cheaply made oil pan.
You can get a chrome pan for a small block chevy for 19 dollars.
There has to be a cheaper pan out there somewhere...
