A friend of mine saw Carrot Top live last year in Greenville, SC. He told me about it the night before. He didn't really want to go, but his wife got the tickets and made plans, then told him. We know how that is right? I love comedy, but I was thinking, there's no way I would go see that guy. Anyway, the next day he called me and said that the show was great, he laughed for 2 straight hours. Well, this year he and his wife bought us tickets and asked us to go. I'm telling you guys, the show was great! I laughed my azz off the whole time. If he comes to a town near you, it's worth the time to see him, really.
I saw Jeff Dunham in Charleston. (He's the "jalapeno on a stick" guy.) I nearly wet my pants and I now know what it feels like to have vodka come out my nose. I would pay double to see him again before I'd go see Carrot Top.
Although I did see one of C.T.'s HBO specials, and the props segment was hilarious. He does look like a Wendy's sign.
I saw him last Friday night here in Norfolk. First 45 minutes of the show my gut was hurting from laughing so hard. He had a lot of new stuff that I hadn't seen ans some old stuff that still make me laugh. I am going to see Chris Rock on the 6th of November. Hope it is just as funny.
His comedy is a lot better than his commercial acting. I used to watch him when he was first starting out. My favorite was when he said he used to put his hair up in tails and go through the drive thru at Wendy's.
