I use bacon grease. It's surprisingly heat stable and smells great going down the road.

Were/are there provisions for filter changes during that 25K?

Personally, i wouldn't stretch a change out that far, just curious about filter changes for that interval.

I personally dont do it. But you can we do it at work on these big Cummins and Cats 12 cylinder engines run oil analysis and change when needed. We talking 200k engines my company operates over 200 boats on average each engine holds about 40 gallons of oil. Change the oil once a year filters get changed every 500 hours. It can be done fleets do it as well with no issue.

Thats the thing...your boats have 40 gallons of oil to dilute particles into. Pickup trucks and cars do not.
That's like putting a drop of food coloring into a glass of water, or a drop into a swimming pool...which one will have the higher ppm of coloring?...

Your missing the point its same concept ok take the big motors out do our generators holds 3 gallons on same rotation as big motor. Same capacity as these trucks. I dont personally do it to my trucks but it does happen and it does work is all Im saying.

How did I miss the point when you never said anything about generators in your last post?

Either way, it's apples and oranges to compare a commercial boat to a pickup truck.

I haven't changed the oil in my pushmower in 7 years...can I compare that to a pickup truck too?

No its not its a engine that takes oil man good lord. The same principle applies wether its a small engine or big engine you obviously aren’t very mechanically inclined. It works no matter what size engine I see it all the time. Does that mean you need to do it or anybody else if you want to go for it if not dont but I can tell you it doesn’t hurt anything and it works.
