Battery Light Illuminated

Hey all! I purchased a 2008 F350 6.4 earlier this year and the battery light illuminated a few months ago. I drive this truck fairly regularly and it has never had any types of issues starting or running, even long distances. I noticed that one of the batteries was bad when I tried to jump a friends car, so I went ahead and replaced both batteries. This didn’t make the battery light turn off. I have an H&S Mini Maxx tuner that is reading 14 VDC at idle and both batteries are reading around 14.1 VDC. This leads me to believe that the alternator hasn’t gone bad because the truck starts/drives fine without any power issues...Has anyone else run into this issue? Any help is appreciated!

Check your wires at the alternator connection. It wouldn't be the first one that has corroded causing your battery light to come on. The easiest way to access it is to remove your passenger side front wheel and inner fender. Once removed, you will be able to inspect your alternator wiring connection more closely and repair as needed.
