DCR’s seem to be holding up well.

Wow... 2800 miles a week... INSANE.

I'd also add that the videos S&S did on one of the DCR testing trucks that had been getting bad fuel, water laden, and DCR chewed up the fuel and spit it out with no issues.

Yes it's true the DCR did keep operating normally after that water contamination. But, the bearing faces did get scored pretty heavily. He showed that up close in part 2 of the video. I wonder if that would *eventually* lead to problems? Particularly if it happened again.

Don't remember that part but I was amazed that after pulling the DCR and checking it out, they put it back in the truck.

I'm sure if you kept feeding the DCR crap fuel, it would go but I remember them saying there would be no catastrophic event of metal debris going through the fuel system like what happens with the CP4 when one fails...

I think that if I have water in the fuel, depending on the amount I would pull and inspect then decide.

When do you have plans to get the DCR installed Scott? You doing it or are you having a shop do it?

I am having my sister's shop do it. Should be ready tomorrow.

I could have done it myself but due to the "lower" or family rate it is just hit the easy button. The pump alone is worth it at <1K.

They guy has done several so far and of the techs has it in his F450.

That's AWESOME you have the know how to do it... I don't know if I'd be so inclined to install the DCR and I don't have another vehicle to drive... Post up here once it's in and what you think... Good stuff.
