Well tank is in. All went pretty good. Two floor jacks and patiance, it'll go in. 2.5 hrs not to bad. Took her out and run her pretty hard, pressure never dropped below 58. Rides at 60-61. I guess now I'll just wait and see how long it lasts. Thanks for all the tips guys. I do appreciate it.

I am dense, so please bear with me. I didn't catch which parts you installed. Did you put in a new sending unit with new pickup foot, or just new pickup foot or do the sump? I figure some day I will need to do this and I am trying to get a plan ready.

Thanks.

I dropped the tank and removed sending unit. Found my pickup foot in pieces. Sending unit was fine. Cleaned tank. Replaced foot and blew out unit pipes and fuel lines of any remnants of foot, put back together. Works like a champ.

Thank you for the information. Did you find an OEM foot or have to buy aftermarket?

post deleted!

Thought I found an OEM pickup foot source, but they (like others) are out of stock.
